  • Idaho Central Credit Union: This is all through out Idaho, for current ICCU Members, ICCU is offering Payroll Loans w/ 0% APR, in addition to waiving fees associated with furlough. Loan covers 3 months worth of deposits that are no longer coming in. 1st payment not due for 45-90 days.
    *Must be able to verify previous direct deposits or manual deposits from federal employer and that those deposits are no longer coming in.   • Idaho Housing and Finance Association: Federal employees who are unable to make their mortgage payments because of the shutdown will not be reported to the credit bureaus.   • Revolution Concert House & Event Center – is offering federal workers free tickets to nine shows. All they have to do is flash their Idaho federal ID at the Record Exchange, 1105 W. Idaho St., where tickets will be distributed starting at noon Friday. The concerts include Jim Breuer on Feb. 8, August Burns Red on Feb. 9, Zomboy on Feb. 21, Young Dubliners on March 2, Abba Mania on March 6, Adventure Club on March 22, Strangelove — The Depeche Mode Experience on March 29, Elle King on May 18 and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones on June 2.   • Boise State Basketball FREE for Federal Employees (Saturday, January 26th & Wednesday, January 30th) – Each ticket also includes a food voucher from Aramark. Tickets can be picked up at the Athletic Ticket office, located on the west side of Albertsons Stadium. The office is open Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Furloughed employees will need to show their federal I.D.’s at the ticket office. The athletic department is asking fans to pick up their tickets the day before each game to avoid lines and to secure free parking. (information found on KTVB).   • Boise Bicycle Project – “Use our shop for FREE! Starting today (Thursday, January 24) and ending when the shutdown is over, BBP will be offering FREE shop time for Walk-In Bike Repair Services to EVERYONE, no questions asked. Whether you are directly affected by the shutdown or not, shop time is on us. We hope that this will assist with transportation needs, create a welcoming space during a challenging time, and provide a vehicle for enjoyment and stress relief.”
  • Urban Air Adventure (Meridian) – “Due to the current Government Shutdown, we at Urban Air Meridian would like to offer something special for those government employees who currently are not receiving paychecks.
  • Morrison Center – The Morrison Center is offering federal employees affected by the government shutdown a family four-pack to The Phantom Tollbooth on April 18th at 7:00 PM.   • TREASURE VALLEY FAMILY YMCA – Treasure Valley Family YMCA is offering Financial Assistance “No one is denied the Y’s service due to the inability to pay. “The Treasure Valley Family YMCA believes that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, deserves access to our services,” said David Duro, President and CEO of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA. “Health and wellness often loses priority when financial uncertainty occurs and the YMCA offers hundreds of programs, youth, adults, and families can access to achieve healthy living.” Anyone in need is encouraged to visit their local YMCA branch to apply for financial assistance towards YMCA membership or Y programs.   • Boise Acupuncture Co-Op – “With no end in sight, the government shutdown is creating lasting threats for tens of thousands of Idahoans. Boise Acupuncture Co-op stands in solidarity with furloughed and unpaid government employees and contractors.   • Idaho Humane Society – We’re excited to offer all furloughed federal employees access to our safety net program, the Pet Food Pantry, which is designed to provide resources primarily to struggling pet owners. Please bring your Federal ID/badge on Sunday, January 30th from 3:00-5:00pm, and we will provide you a month’s worth of pet food for up to 4 household pets! We will stay open longer if we know that people are coming and cannot make it before 5:00pm.   • Cable One – “In addition to waiving late fees, Cable ONE is offering payment deferrals to customers who call to make arrangements. Customers can call 877-692-2253 for more information and to set up arrangements.”
  • Sprint – “Sprint Customer Care is prepared to work with federal government employees seeking short-term payment solutions. Impacted customers should contact us by calling 888-211-4727 or go online to chat with a Care representative.”
  • Verizon – “We are waiving late fees and agent assist fees for federal government employees directly impacted for the duration of the shutdown.”
  • T-Mobile  – “Customers who are Federal government employees and need short-term account assistance can work with T-Mobile Customer Care representatives on solutions tailored to meet their needs, including flexible payment options that allow customers to spread their service payments over time. Payment deferral is also an option. T-Mobile is offering the same support to government account customers.”
  • AT&T – “As long as the shutdown is in effect, our customer service team will adjust late fees, provide extensions, and coordinate with you on revised payment schedules.”
