The first staple on my list is a black turtleneck. A fall and winter MUST. It’s both classic and warm. Such a versatile top; you can wear a black turtleneck with jeans (any denim color), black slacks, denim skirt, business skirt, leggings, faux leather pants, etc., you name it.  There’s something about a woman in a black turtleneck that says – I came to get ish done.

Next item on my simple and stylish staple list – Faux Leather Trousers . It would NOT be winter without leather (or in my case faux leather) pants or leggings. These Zara Faux Leather Biker Trousers, in particular, are my favorite because they add character to any look. I was so happy when I saw they brought these back this season. I’m edgy by nature so, I’m a sucker for pieces that can effortlessly show that side of me. However, for someone who’s never worn faux leather pants, these faux leather biker pants might be a little too loud.  Don’t worry, a simple pair of faux leather pants, can be just as effortless and chic! It’s all about your comfort level so don’t be afraid to modify.

The third staple to recognize would have to be a – camel wool blend coat. Camel coats are a must during the colder fall and winter days. For one, the length provides a better shield from the blistering cold and it can be worn with almost anything – jeans, dress, slacks, etc. I can reassure you this is one coat style and color that’ll never go out of style. If you haven’t picked one up yet, you better hurry because retailers tend to sell out during the middle of the season. I’ve linked a couple of options for you to look through and decide which style suits your taste.

Last staple to be mentioned, is one I seriously couldn’t do without – the leopard stiletto. Out of all the items mentioned in this post, if you decide to pick up any of these pieces, a good leopard heel should be the first item you go for. The perfect leopard stiletto is lively, bold, and full of spirit; it can transform a rather regular look in to a sassy one, in a blink of an eye!

Well that’s it for now! I really hope you enjoyed this look as well as my favorite fall staples. Let me know if you’re on the fence about something or have any style questions in a comment below! Until next time…

BESOS (Kisses),
