Monday’s are for new beginnings and new blog posts! There’s nothing quite like starting the week off refreshed and reenergized. I’m currently making my way home after spending the last 15 days on quite a vacation! Our 1st stop was Disney World in Orlando, Puerto Rico and then — Vieques, Puerto Rico. This was my first time visiting this enchanting island and I must say – Vieques is one of a kind. The thousands of freely roaming wild horses, bioluminescent bay, delicious restaurants, un-crowded BEAUTIFUL beaches (Black Sand Beach being one of them), and THE W. Yes, THE W in Vieques was to die for. The best W I’ve stayed in by far, which is where I found these pieces for this look and shot this and many new looks that’ll be coming your way. I will let you see just what I mean but through my photos. Stay tuned.
When on vacation, especially on an island, I’ve never thought to shop at any boutiques. One, because we are too busy adventuring and 2, because there normally isn’t one located inside of the resort. My husband was the who encouraged me to check it out, in fact he picked out this complete look. Not bad huh?
This look is from ACACIA SWIMWEAR, both the top (Malibu Bikini Top) and the skirt (Paia Skirt – Driftwood Mesh). What I love the most about these pieces is how versatile they are. Two looks in one; Acacia’s Malibu Bikini top can be worn as a swim suit top as well as a crop top, which comes in handy when you want to walk around, run some errands, and then hit the pool or beach. The Paia Skirt is quite comfortable, can be easily slipped on and off. And to complete the look, the most beautiful piece – this Nickel Kimono – from Amuse Society. I’ve linked this piece below as well as some similar options. A knit/crochet is a must have summer piece. It serves as a perfect swimsuit cover and complements any crop top/bikini top and skirt/shorts combo!
That concludes this look! I look forward to sharing more looks shot in Vieques and in Puerto Rico, with you. Thank you again for reading and hasta luego amores! MUAH.
