I Must Confess…., I am not ready to say goodbye to Summer. I mean, I am but I’m not. We’ve had such an amazing summer here in Boise this year. It’s been on the cooler side of summers considering June – Aug and mid Sept it’s usually in the 100 degree range. For example yesterday – August 23rd- it was 81°…, which means we will be entering that awkward time of year soon. You know, when you’re cold in the morning and roasting by the evening. Finding what to wear is always a challenge, unless you have a “back up” piece that provides just enough warmth, for chilly mornings, and is easily ditch-able by 12ish. A “back up” piece usually consists of a blazer (like this white one), light jacket (khaki or denim jacket), bomber or a poncho.
My “back up” piece of choice, besides a bomber, is a BLAZER. One of my favorite pieces to style with has always been a long blazer, simply because you can compliment any look so quickly and there’s only a few looks/pieces that don’t style well with them. However, that wasn’t the case with this Necessary Clothing silk romper. This combo kept me warm in the morning, while also giving me coverage (in the back) and adding an extra chic appeal to my look.
Really quickly, I want to touch on my wedge heels from Mila Milu. My FAVORITE wedges of all time. These babes are the whole package – beautiful design, comfortable and sky high! And did I mention they are from a designer in Mexico?! Yes! I will definitely be purchasing more shoes from Mila Milu.
