Hola amores, today I am sharing with you one of my essential summer pieces – the split summer pant. When you think of summer wear – rompers, shorts and dresses, come to mind but not pants. And with a variation of summer pants styles available, it’s no wonder the summer pant has become one of my favorite pieces to style this season. Don’t get me wrong, I love all styles but my current obsession is the slit pant, specifically these FREE PEOPLE split pants.
This style of pant is perfect for summer getaways, breezy walks on the beach or even a evening stroll in the city. I love the waisted detail, which allowed for the perfect pairing of this crop top or, if you’re feeling risky, a skin-baring bandeau top and a slick white blazer would look so sexy chic (yes honey, yes!). I am 5’1 so I fell head over heels for the length. 8 times out of 10 I end up having to take my pants to get hemmed so I was so happy these fit perfectly to my height! I wore heels in this look but I’ve also worn flat lace-up sandals, for a more relaxed look!
