Hola amores, thank you for joining me, I have a couple of things to share with you. No.1 being this dreamy Shein Pleated Skirt and second, some exciting news about the closing and the beginning of an old and new chapter in my life. First, let’s focus on number one, shall we?

I seriously couldn’t open, shoot, edit and get this post up fast enough for you guys. I’ve been wanting to share this skirt from the moment it hit my doorstep. As stunning as it appears in these photos, it still doesn’t give it the justice it deserves. This skirt is a one of a kind jewel, a must have piece, and once you find out how much it is, there’s no doubt you’ll agree. I styled it a couple of ways to show how versatile this piece can be. For my first look, I wanted to take a chic approach and this beautiful mauve Forever21 lace crop top made for the perfect mauve on mauve combo. This pairing makes for the perfect special evening event or summer wedding look. Channelling my inner Cinderella I opted to wear these Strappy Perspex High Heels in Clear Nude and completed the look with my glitter clutch (I bought at T.J. Max quite some time ago), here is a similar style.

Now, if you love this skirt but don’t necessarily have a special event or wedding to wear it to, no problem! Edge it up a bit with a black crop top or graphic tee, moto jacket, and chunky heeled black heels! This is a look I’ll be rocking once fall hits for sure!

Besides sharing this BEAUTIFUL pleated skirt with you today, I’ve got quite the reveal! News I’ve longed to become a reality for quite a while, and yet still can’t believe has actually come to fruition. January of this year, we sold our business and for the last 6 months I have been managing, with the intent of transitioning out. And this past Friday, I officially said farewell to my baby – ThisisBoise.com. About 5 years ago my husband and I embarked on an entrepreneur journey, a journey I would of never imagined becoming what’s its evolved to today. ThisisBoise.com challenged, motivated, and forever changed me. Owning ThisisBoise.com and having the responsibility of other’s livelihoods, pushed me in ways I never thought possible. It made me realize how paramount it is to pursue a dream or idea, even when others doubt or don’t believe in your vision, because you never know how many people’s lives you will enhance by simply pursuing your dreams. The greatest gift ThisisBoise.com gave me – pleasure of meeting and working with some amazing individuals and businesses in the community. Individuals/family, whom I owe the success of ThisisBoise.com to and who I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Now, don’t be fooled, along with the good, also came the bad, the stress and the difficulty of cooping, with the reality of possessing that much responsibility, and trying to coop with it all behind the scenes. Owning a business is FUCKING hard. There, I said it. It’s especially difficult when you lead with your heart. I don’t know that I’ll ever start another brick and mortar business but what I do know is – I will never regret ThisisBoise.com. It has bless me and my family far more that it ever burdened us. I am beyond grateful and proud of what we, with our team, built and I will never take for granted what these 5 years have provided and taught me.
