Rich hues and mixing textures – what Fall is all about. When I’m not wearing my staple black and nudes, rich hues are what I’m after, and this deep mauve ruffle blouse from Forever21 is no exception. This season’s ‘it’ color has been any shade of mauve you can imagine, which I have been a bit hesitant to participate because my lack of interest in pastels. However, what caught my eye about this blouse, besides the beautiful ruffle and bell sleeve details, was how unique this shade of mauve is. The great thing is this beautiful mauve blouse is also available in other colors.
I wore it here 2 different ways – off the shoulder and tied up as pictured aka how it’s really supposed to be worn. For the perfect fall #OOTD, I paired it with these dark denim jeans from Zara, and to complete this look I accessorized it with these Vince Camuto ‘Barsha’ Lace-up Pumps, wine sheer choker, and stunning velvet clutch.
