2016 is only 10 DAYS AWAY and I can’t wait to file this book/year away. How do you plan on starting 2016? Me? I’m going to meet the NEW YEAR with a fierce stance and renewed purpose, with the help of my wardrobe, of course. 2015 was full of grand trips and memorable accomplishments, but it’s also been one of the hardest years, mentally, for me. So for this new year I’ve decided to continue the fight for myself (never ends BTW) through my wardrobe. I’ve always believed in the power of ‘dressing with a purpose’ and how the perfect outfit can make one feel invincible. I personally experience it everyday. So I propose we take a vow! Let’s vow to dress the part; dress for success, for self confidence, to feel strong, make a statement and express ourselves as individuals or for new beginnings. Because you are what you think, say, and in this case wear, right? So dress how you want to see yourself conquering in 2016. For me it’s all about “confidence dressing” and that killer outfit that can alter how you approach your day, interact with people, work towards your goal and obstacles in your life. They say “a picture is worth a thousand words”, if so, then a powerful outfit is worth a million, especially when it comes to your life, how you’re perceived and how you view yourself in it.
I mentioned above how I plan on approaching the new year – with a strong mind set- and this Nasty Gal Leopard Dress states just that. In this dress, I’m a force to be reckoned with. The fit – bold, glamorous, and risky; all characteristics needed to slay 2016. It’s print – leopard – definitely my confidence color, mostly because it demands notice. I look forward to rocking this dress, and many other pieces like this, confidently in 2016.
