I Must Confess…, I’m #feelingnostalgic over this season’s “it pant” and I like it!
You may remember this trending piece from several years ago (okay more like a decade or more ago but who’s counting). Referred to now as culottes, but also referred to as gauchos or palazzo pants, this fun and chic, day or night, fashion piece is a must try. Reflecting back, I was an avid supporter of this trend – I owned a jean pair, dressy black pair like these pictured, and I mmmmight have owned a plaid pair (eek).
If styled correctly, the culottes trend can be a fashion trend/piece to be reckoned with! Why or how you ask? Well, for starters, this effortlessly chic piece can be used as a day to night transitional statement piece. For a professional, but comfortable look, opt for a tucked in fitted turtle neck or a loose silk blouse and pair it up with a pair of sexy black pumps or knee high boots. Trust me, the knee high boots look killer and add extra warmth for those chilly days. For a sexy night out look, pair up your culottes with your sexiest crop top and highest pair of heels. That’s right don’t be afraid to show a slice of midsection!
This trend, isn’t for everyone, but if you’re willing to give it a try, I promise you’ll be hooked! I mean why else would I be raving about them! *wink
