What woman doesn’t like to channel their inner goddess?! And this blanc (white) Nasty Gal Brushing Shoulders Cape Dress and gladiator heels from Aldo, have me doing just that! It’s the perfect look for this weekend of ROMANce. What I la la love the most about this dress/look is- it doesn’t scream Valentine’s Day! As in it’s not red. Don’t get me wrong, I love a fierce red dress, but I prefer to stay away from the predictable.
I was a little worried about how it would look and fit based on the reviews on the site. However, they were put to rest as soon as I tried it on. It’s fully lined, so no need to worry about it being translucent. The fit is so flattering, especially when the wind hits – it just flows (huge sigh). If you can, I highly recommend having someone follow you around with a diva fan because let me tell you – you NEED IT for this dress. If that’s out of the question, wearing it on a semi windy day will do (wink). I ordered a small and it fit perfect. I normally wear a size 0 or 2 depending on the brand.
